Precast or CIP ARCH CULVERTS

Arch culverts offer both the open-area benefits of a rectangular box culvert as well as the structural load-carrying capacity of an arch structure. The arch shape provides the most efficient and cost-effective structural cross section, while the vertical sidewalls of the arch-box shape

result in greater open area for increased hydraulic clearance. The three-sided structure can be set on strip foundations to avoid disturbing wetlands and streams. With a variety of span and rise combinations from 6 feet to 60 feet, the SPECS three-sided arch structure offers speed of construction, environmental avoidance, cost savings compared to conventional box or bridge construction and minimized long-term maintenance.

CORRUGATED METAL STRUCTURES

Corrugated metal structures are a cost effective durable buried structure solution. They are shipped to the jobsite in bundles of stacked metal plates, which are easily removed with light construction equipment. Different corrugation profiles allow spans ranging from 6 ft to 80 ft. The deep corrugations offer nine times the stiffness of conventional structural plate, allowing it to withstand heavy loading. There are multiple different shape options or a shape can be designed specifically for the site needs.
